Adam is a partner at Franklin, Greenswag, Channon & Capilla, LLC, where he represents small business owners, entrepreneurs, individuals and families in matters involving business and corporate law, real estate, estate planning and dispute resolution. In 2025 and 2026, Adam was selected by Super Lawyers to the Illinois Rising Stars list, an honor reserved for lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice.
On the transactional side, Adam represents buyers and sellers in asset and stock transactions and advises clients on business formation, structuring and contracts. He also advises clients on estate planning and succession strategies and represents buyers and sellers in real estate transactions. Adam serves as a comprehensive legal resource for small businesses, helping owners navigate legal matters from formation and day-to-day operations through growth, succession, and sale. When disputes cannot be resolved through negotiation, Adam brings trial experience to the courtroom, giving clients confidence that he can guide a matter from demand letter through verdict.
Prior to joining the firm as an attorney, Adam served as a law clerk for both Franklin Law Group and Greenswag & Associates, P.C. before the two firms merged, gaining hands-on experience in both civil litigation and transactional matters. After his first year of law school, he externed for the Honorable Jorge L. Alonso in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Adam earned a business law certificate in law school and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award—recognition for the top grade in the class—in Business Fundamentals for Lawyers. He combined his two greatest passions, sports and law, as a staff writer for the DePaul Journal of Sports Law, where his published article was selected as the lead article of the 2020 Spring Volume.
Adam speaks and writes Polish fluently and is happy to assist Polish-speaking clients or provide translation when needed.
