Adam J. Garlewicz

Prior to joining Franklin, Greenswag, Channon & Capilla, LLC as an attorney, Adam was a law clerk for both Franklin Law Group and Greenswag & Associates, P.C. before the two firms merged. As a result, Adam was able to work on both civil litigation and transactional matters. Now, Adam focuses on the transactional side, mainly working on business formation, structuring and contracts. In addition, Adam has experience in estate planning, helping clients identify and implement appropriate strategies for succession. Adam also has represented both buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions. Adam speaks and writes Polish fluently and is happy to help translate if needed.

After his first year of law school, Adam served as an extern for the Honorable Judge Jorge L. Alonso in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Adam eventually decided to specialize in business law and received a business law certificate. Adam also earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award (recognition for the top grade in the class) in Business Fundamentals for Lawyers. Adam was able to combine his two biggest passions (sports and law) by becoming a staff writer for the DePaul Journal of Sports Law. Adam was published and chosen as the lead article for the 2020 Spring Volume.
