Richard A. Greenswag

Rick was affiliated with and became a partner in the law firm Chandler & Greenswag, P.C. from 1979-1993. Thereafter, he operated the Law Offices of Richard A. Greenswag, P.C. from 1993 until he then became a founding member of Kaplan & Greenswag LLC until March of 2011 when Greenswag & Associates, P.C. was formed. In April of 2021 Greenswag & Associates, P.C., merged with Franklin Law Group to form Franklin, Greenswag, Channon & Capilla, LLC.

  • Rick is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. 
  • Rick was a member of the Board of Directors for 19 years, serving the last 4 years as President of PADS Lake County, a charitable organization serving the needs of the homeless in Lake County, Illinois. He still acts as occasional legal counsel for PADS. 
  • Rick is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Winnetka, Northfield, Glencoe Chamber of Commerce, serving in various capacities since 2015. He currently holds the office of ex-officio legal advisor to the executive committee. 
  • Rick is a member of the Advisory Board of Directors of Hunger Resource Network and is currently serving as Vice President. 
  • Rick is a member of the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity, Lake County, Illinois.
